Words on Parenting Wednesday is a weekly post series on the subject of parenting. I’ll talk about any adventures we have with our girls to motherhood experiences to fun and games for children to featuring mommy bloggers.
*If you would like to guest post on my blog on the topic of children or any other topic, send me a message.
One thing my girls, Katie and Sophia, love to do on a nice day is go outside. Sometimes we’ll bring out the chalk container and draw on the sidewalk in the front yard. Do your kids love to create chalk art on the sidewalk? What do they love to draw?
Katie draws a lot more than Sophia does. Katie loves to draw straight lines. Sophia was trying to get used to drawing with the chalk. She really liked to draw on top of whatever Katie drew.
Below are close ups of Katie and Sophia’s chalk art. They took all the pieces of chalk out of the container while they were playing with them. We haven’t played with chalk in a while. We’ll definitely have to go outside this week and create some chalk art.
What did you think of my girls chalk art? Did you love playing with chalk when you were little? Do your kids love playing with chalk?
My siblings and I used to love playing with chalk. We would draw hopscotch boards and play for hours. Thanks for sharing on Hump Day Happenings!
Aren’t they just adorable with their little pony tails? My youngest daughter (15!!) still loves her chalk. It’s a fun way to brighten her dad’s day when he gets home! Thank you for sharing on Merry Mondays. Pinned & Tweeted 🙂 ~Stacy
Very cute! Thank you for sharing this post at City of Creative Dream’s City of Links last Friday! I appreciate you taking the time to party with me. Hope to see you again this week 🙂
